Lincoln Forrest is a fiveyear old Registered AQHA Buckskin Gelding. He has a lovely Golden Buckskin coat with a black mane and tail. What an eye-catching guy.
Sired by Mister Creme Genes and out of a Docs Prescription mare. Good using blood here.
Lincoln is very nice on trails and loves it. He will leave the barn with no fussing and can lead a group or follow behind. He tolerates other horses crowding or bumping him with no problems. He crosses absolutely anything in his path, just point him at it and cluck. He has been ridden down the road and is accustomed to varied traffic traffic. He has been over a manmade wooden bridge and a wobble board and is not rattled. He is good in deep, sticky mud and will cross water quietly, from a large river to a thin trickle. Lincoln has been around dogs and ATV's and is not worried. He will descend the steepest hills slowly and carefully. Very surefooted and relaxed in the toughest terrain. A great trail mount. Neckreins too.
He has the cowboy look and color with the trail horse training and experience. Take him and go camping tomorrow, he is ready for the adventure. He has been on many multi day rides and been in very large groups with wagons and more. He will stand tied to the trailer or on a picket line. Lincoln is easy to catch in pasture and has nice ground manners. Stands for the farrier (barefoot with great feet), bathes, loads and hauls quietly. This boy is not a deadhead beginner horse but great for someone who wants a horse with the ability to do extreme trail and go all day without tiring out.
